The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
